Get Map In Your Phone

Why ask for directions when you have map options on your phone? With a decent internet speed and the help of in-built GPS system, you are good to go. But did you know GPS drains out too much battery? Mapping apps that work without network for a decent signal in remote areas is not always possible. It is always better to use a voice navigation system so that your eyes are free.
Here are a few apps that you should have on your phone.

Google Maps :

This is the most famous app of the lot, it is free and can be downloaded on any platform. It has voice navigation and traffic updates also.

Nokia Maps :

This is a good quality map. Nokia owns 'Navteq,' among the largest map makers in the world. It has an offline mode too.

Waze :

This one is also free and was recently acquired by Google. It serves almost the same functions of routing and giving directions.

Sygic and Map my India :

This one is a paid version and works on GPS without the need of internet. It also has features like city guide, location sharing and geo tagging of images. It can also detect speed limits.
