Just In Time (JIT), Kaizen and KANBAN - 9

Guys, here are some more technical words and defintions I have furnished here.

Just In Time (JIT):

Produce and deliver finished goods just in time to be sold, sub-assemblies just in time to be assembled into finished goods, fabricated parts just in time to go into sub-assemblies and purchased materials just in time to be converted into fabricated parts. And all this production with JIT input purchases.

KC:

Kaizen Committee

Kaizen:

Kai – means Change and Zen – means Better. Kaizen means change for better. Some people refer to Kaizen as Continual Improvements. I have used the words Continual and Continuous Interchangeability.

KAN-BAN:

It’s basically an information system, to support JIT Manufacturing system. It signals supply of material.

Kaizenee:

Kaizenee is the one who does Kaizens.
